Business Units Advanced Technology Division (ATD) ATD is Irvine Sensors' core business and "product engine". This unit is responsible for the research and development of the company's advanced technologies and products, including the Neo-stack™ technology, Silicon Brain initiative, and SuperRouter. development.
Miniature cameras and vision systems Wearable bio-monitors and flexible circuits High-speed, real-time image processing and human-level recognition Infrared and general signal processing High density interconnections Photonics communications Smart sensors Low power analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits Electronic image stabilization and enhancement Microelectronics Products Division (MPD) MPD is the manufacturing arm of Irvine Sensors established in 1997 to broaden the company's stacked product lines. Focused on 3D microelectronics, the unit uses several proprietary IC-stacking technologies to dramatically reduce PCB area. MPD develops products that are customer- or application-specific, and cost-effective. The large I/O count capability of the BGA products easily accommodates wide word memory, mixed memory technologies, and combining memory with other ICs such as processors, controllers, ASICs, FPGAs, etc. An extensive variety of ICs can be stacked for a complete solution to density and/or signal integrity problems. MPD serves a broad market and supports diverse systems applications, while offering a full spectrum of pricing options.
